This week I have received a number of emails from individuals with various life challenges or blocks. In response, what came to mind is an extremely simple visualization that I have been using for years. It literally takes just a few moments a few times a day and I attribute it not only as a contributing factor to my personal emotional, mental and physical well-being, but also to the well-being and success of many, many of my clients.
The first few times you do this little exercise it will take a little longer (don’t block growth just because of the word exercise:-) However, once you get into the swing of things, it will take a few seconds. Most people get blocked here. They can’t imagine that something which takes only a few seconds can transform their life. I guess you’ll just have to try it!
Okay, take a deep breath in and exhale…now visualize, imagine, or feel your negative emotion or block… for example, maybe you are a writer, but can’t focus…maybe you are a mom and you find yourself losing your temper with your kids…maybe you want to let go more during your sexual encounters (either with yourself or a love) but you find yourself just going through the motions. You want more….
Once you have discovered the negative thought or feeling, identify it. Lack of passion, lack of focus, lack of patience, etc. Now decide what you want to feel instead…passion, focus, patience. Switch the negative emotion for the positive…and, while breathing, deeply and focusing on the positive emotion, say out loud or in your head, “I AM FREE!”…so you see yourself, so you become! Everything begins with thoughts…action and energy follow your thoughts…FREE!
