Dom or Sub?

I read an intense post yesterday, that made my head spin…not a little, a lot. The woman in the post expresses that she thrives on the intense pleasure she receives from being entirely submissive to her male counter part. Hmmm….I must admit, I cannot relate. Not on any level.

It’s not that I have never been tied down and ravished, that I enjoy, but to fully submit to another person and therefore communicating both verbally and non-verbally that he/she is my…joy chokes on her words….master! F@*K no!!!! Not this chick!

Playing sex games, I like, messin’ around with sex toys, so-so, giving over my control, so-so, taking control, well now we’re talkin’! What I gather from this is that, in the event that I was somehow forced to choose one role…submissive or dominant, I would definitely choose dominant. Though I would never be capable of causing another being, especially not a being whom I love any true pain or damage, so maybe I’ll just leave the whole sub/dom saga to those who are truly drawn to it…just my two cents.

If you were forced to choose between sub or dom, what would you choose and why? If you have any questions for me regarding my personal choice and perspective on this or any other topic related to sex, sexuality, Tantra, or anything else between the sheets, please ask away! From my heart to yours, Joy

Good question, Joy. I cant say from a woman’s point of view, but I do kind of enjoy being dom over my spouse, in a gentle kind of way. It kind of gives me a thrill to just kind of lay her down, and spread her legs out, and totally control her sexually 🙂

Hmmm…I like to be on the opposite end of the dom/sub gender dance….I definitely like being dom more!! 🙂

It might be kind of fun to “tame” someone like you 🙂

The problem I would have is that I like to use my hands, so that would preclude any chance of ME being submissive, but more to the point I have trouble equating with any form of “control” over a sexual partner. To me, sex and lovemaking is about sharing, sometimes with more than one person, but always about giving and receiving pleasure. Yes I know that some get their pleasure from being either submissive or dominating, but not me.
