So I am working on streamlining my business. To do so, I have joined this cool mastermind group through Yaro Starak’s Entrepreneur’s Journey blog/online business. The basic idea is that Yaro, who has experienced a great deal of success helping people to pursue their dreams while also creating a living wage for himself facilitates communication and support. There are a variety of forum topics and a large group of people who are all focusing on developing their businesses communicate, support and encourage each other with Yaro’s guidance.
It has empowered me. At the same time, my topic is completely different from other people in the group. Recently Yaro mentioned that I simply must have a newsletter where I give valuable content to my blog readers and of course have product offerings so that people who want to dig deeper are able to do so…The process is interesting to me. It feels sales oriented, but I think that as long as I focus on maintaining my authentic voice, hold integrity as my highest purpose, and continue to create helpful resources for people…I will feel good about it.
Yaro responded directly to me yesterday and asked me to focus on what people want from me. He said it will be easy for me to know because I have worked with so many thousands of people over the years. So the question is: Why do people come to me? What makes people book a session with me? What do people gain from working with me, from reading my blog, from emailing me questions? The answer I came up with is this. CONNECTION! People have a tendency to come to me because they feel disconnected.
Many of us feel disconnected from:
- Our lover(s)
- Our family
- Our life path
- Our Passion
- Our sexual energy
- Our Sexuality in general
Of course people come to me for more specific challenges and focuses (premature ejaculation, anorgasmia, erectile dysfunction, etc.). However, at the core of each session there is an innate need for meaningful connection. This is confusing at times. The other day I had a client laying on my table and he looked up at me and said “I feel so connected to you and I am not sure what to do with that”. I had him close his eyes and channel that energy back into himself. I asked him to focus on self-love and through self-love, he was able to open to what he needed….balance, acceptance, self-respect, and to feel worthy of unconditional self-love.
So I am contemplating this journey I am on. I am focusing on finding ways to engage my audience. To help each of you feel more deeply connected, grounded, and balanced. Well, this beauty-full day is unfolding and it is time for me to experience it. From my heart to yours, Joy
